Return to Practice Plan COVID-19

We are very excited about the “BC’s Restart Plan” and we are working on re-opening our clinic. We will be following guidelines set out by the BC Government and our own respective governing bodies to make some changes within the clinic. While you will experience some changes in your visit, the quality of care and commitment to your health remain unchanged.

Here are the new protocols we have in place to keep you safe RETURN TO PRACTICE PLAN

From you we ask:

  • Your practitioner will reach out to you prior to your upcoming appointment with a series of questions to screen you for COVID-19. For now, this is a mandatory step for every appointment. If you are unwell or your practitioner suspects that you might be expressing COVID-19 symptoms, your appointment will be rescheduled.

  • Please read the screening questionnaire and the consent of acknowledgement in the "thanks for booking" email as well as the "appointment reminder" email in order to be accurate about your health and understand the potential risk of transmission.

  • Please arrive at the time of your appointment, do not arrive early. If you are early please wait outside until your appointment time. This will limit your exposure to other people who may be in the reception finishing up after their appointment.

  • When you enter, please take a mask provided as well as a pump of hand sanitizer before proceeding to the washroom to wash your hands with soap and warm water for 20 seconds. If you have your own mask, please wear it upon arrival. You can have a discussion with your practitioner on whether you need to wear a mask during treatment.

What we are doing at the clinic:

  • Each practitioner will have more time in between treatments to allow for a thorough cleaning and sanitizing of surfaces.

  • Each practitioner is staggering their shifts with colleagues in order to practice social distancing as much as possible.

  • All shared reading material has been temporarily removed from the clinic.

  • Practitioners will be wearing masks.

  • Contactless payment through saved credit cards on client personal files as well as through the tap function on the debit machine.

Bookings

Please note that each practitioner might now have a different schedule than before with limited availability online. We are doing our best to get everyone who we had to cancel due to COVID-19 in first. Please be patient and we will get you in as soon as we can. Don’t hesitate to contact your practitioner individually or call the clinic if you have urgent concerns.

Please be advised, that if you do not follow our lead in keeping our space safe, we can refuse provision of treatment.
