JIL FORBES

Jil grew up in Kamloops and completed her training with the Vancouver College of Massage Therapy. Upon graduation, she lived and worked on the west coast of the island, where she fell in love with surfing and the ocean. She then moved to Sun Peaks, BC to work with ski racers and weekend warriors. After a season of skiing and ski touring, Jil had the opportunity to work in a mentorship program with a renowned RMT at Rebound Health Services in the lower mainland. She then went on to study internationally to become a STECCO Fascial Manipulation practitioner and is one of the only practitioners in Kamloops with this certification. With her mentorship ending and a new set of skills, Jil decided to move back to Kamloops to open up her own massage therapy clinic at Dimensional Registered Massage and Wellness. She has also completed her 200 hour Power Vinyasa Yoga and Prenatal Yoga teacher trainings to encompass safe and effective rehabilitation tools into her massage therapy practice. Jil is certified in Graston Technique and incorporates this method into her assessment and treatment to the fascial system.

Jil is kept busy these days by her 1 year old daughter and can be found back at the clinic part time with clients as well as back at Yoga Now Kamloops, teaching workshops and classes. In her spare time, she enjoys movement daily to stay healthy and happy.
